Do You Have Pajama Days?

No..I never have stayed in pyjamas all day tbh.... even when I'm poorly, I get dressed, but only into jogging pants, and a top or jumper, (as I'm wearing today) .. but I do have days where I just don't answer the door. It's handy that I have a ring door bell and I can see whose at the door anyway, but I know what you mean... just relax and keep the world from bothering you for a while

Unless you are physically ill, Lee, you sound depressed. I hope that's not the case.

It's the "jammies" part that makes me think that. No makeup? Well, if you are alone, who bothers with makeup anyway? And yes, there are days when you have enough to do at home so that you just don't leave the house. But staying in one's pajamas all day is pretty extreme.

There are times when this is probably appropriate, such as feeling lousy, having received a bad medical diagnosis for oneself or a loved one, mourning the death of a loved one, etc.

And having said all that, many of the lounging outfits that people wear during the day are not that different from pajamas, and some can do double duty as both. But it's more the tone of your note that sounds depressed to me. (Obviously, I could be wrong.)

A day when you stay in your jammies, don't bother with makeup, fluff up the hair and hope no one comes to the door?

This is my plan for the day, I have all the blinds closed and am pretending I am not home.
the other thing is on those type of keep the world out days, I don't do any housework beyond the minimum..like washing up etc... it's like having a little holiday to yourself at home..

@Lee I'm having one of those days right now. I took a bath very late last night so I'm all cleaned up. I also washed my long nightgown. I'm going to put on my long robe for when the delivery gets here. They don't care if you're in your pjs. Well, at least that's what I think :ROFLMAO: I guess as long as they get their tip they'll be okay with it😉

Not pajamas, but I wear sweats in the winter and shorts/t's in the summer. I've never been much for makeup, just lipstick. And if anyone rings the doorbell that I am not expecting I never answer the door. Drop ins are never welcome by me, I always ask people if I can visit them to make sure it's convenient for them.
