I know from my own experience, I have entered and left many a forum in my time surfing the net. Many times it was because the forum was not what I was expecting, or it no longer fit my needs.
Here at SF, though, since none of us have discovered that magic elixir to grow younger, we will always be seniors. Ha Ha.

But for some, even here is not their cup of tea. To be honest, I would rather have SF than a cup of tea, or coffee.

I spoke with Ike about 2 weeks ago, he is doing good..He just don't come here for any reason, he goes to a gun forum that has his interests..

Hey, we're old. Health problems are a hallmark of our age. My problems started off Feb 14, 2018 ( it was the date of the Fla school shootings), when I woke up on my kitchen floor. I wasn't back in my home till May 1, 2019. And I was away from the forum. Being home bound most of the time, this forum has been a happy experience.

I enjoyed her threads about projects at the farm, vintage pictures, etc...

I think at around 90 years old, falcon just wasn't ready or willing for the change to the new format

I miss Shalimar. The last time we emailed she was doing ok. She left because some posters were pretty hard on her (in unrelated threads) shortly after the very crushing death of her beloved SifuPhil (also a former SF member). I don't know if she'll ever return, but she brought a gentleness to SF.

Sometimes it's not that they didn't like the forum or people posting on it .. just that one is a "better personal fit".
