One of my Local Hospitals has Corona Virus confirmed

Thank you for your concern Gaer, I am OK at the moment
I very rarely go out, usually only Friday or to do some
shopping, last week I used a bus though.

Liberty they don't really know very much about it I think,
or it is so deadly that they are acting dumb.

In the beginning they said 2 to 14 days, but now as hollydolly
says they have up the ante to 28 days.

The Doctor who first reported it and told his Government that
there was a serious epidemic on the way, was told to shut up
and not to spread panic! He unfortunatelt died of it last week.

No agreement on this as far as I know...some say the "animal market" there and I read there's that pesky virus lab 20 miles away where the virus was stolen a while back. Lots to speculate on while the body count continues.

I've been at the NHS hospital today ..almost all day as an outpatient ... and the waiting room was packed, and only one tiny easily missed sign on the entrance door leading to the full waiting room warning about the coronavirus .. I watched as people came in through the doors from outside and only one couple used the medical handwash before they entered the packed waiting room... ( probably 50 people in that room sitting literally shoulder to shoulder)...

Tomorrow I am at a different hospital ( private) for a second procedure following on from one I had there last week... at reception before being taken to the ward, there's a sign there asking anyone who has recently been to any listed Asian country to inform staff, other than that there's no-one walking around wearing mask least of all the nursing staff... I'll let you know after tom morrows procedure if anything has changed there with regard protections... although tbf there's no reason why there should be any panice because there's been no reported cases in this county at all...
