The vigilantes are out there!

Here in my province we have been instructed to phone/e-mail a hotline to report anyone that we find breaking the rules. I better not say anything more or my post will be deleted. You may conclude what you want!

I was waiting for this to happen, when I heard that gun stores were considered "essential", and could remain open. Fear is overwhelming reason. I'm waiting for religious fanatics to start assaulting those they consider "sinners" and the cause of God's wrath- the virus. It's only been a few days of home seclusion. This will not end tomorrow. It may go on for months, until the virus plateaus, and begins to dissipate.

The lines are forming. The mobs are forming. Inflict their will on a few so they can feel safe. One of those "landscapers" could catch the virus so many other ways than their neighbor. It would ironic if they did indeed catch it elsewhere.

I'll say it. Reminds me of being told to turn in those Jews amongst the Aryan populace. Being personally affected, I feel I have every right to say that.

I haven't seen that, John. I would turn in someone I saw spitting on produce, but not someone who was standing too close to me.
Agree! Standing too close, annoying at any time. Spitting on anything-a crime.

This virus is bringing out the a--h--- in people; as well as those who crave the power that comes from telling people what to do.
Last night, I was in line at a market. They let seniors (Like myself) go to the front of the line, but I choose to wait.
One guy in line decided to take his cart with him while he waited. Another guy walked up to him, stood a few inches away & told him he shouldn't have the cart until he is let into the store. (like that really matters)
The other guy told him to get lost.
Luckily for him, he walked away, but then he started confronting people who weren't standing exactly on the strips of tape on the ground that keep people the right distance apart. Most of the people ignored him - until one of them (who was obviously in no mood for crap) told him, "I suggest you shop elsewhere or you're gonna get hurt."
He went to the cart wipe dispenser, took 4 of them & started scrubbing his gloved hands NONSTOP for at least 5 minutes. He probably has mental issues.

Probably. Understand that many people in group homes and similar situations are taught to obey the rules exactly and get seriously stressed when others don’t. It is very hard for our disabled population to understand what is happening.

One of my sons group home roommates was upset that my son “got” to stay home everyday. My son is upset that his roommates get to go to sheltered workshop. 😂. Solution, the other roommate gets to stay home as my high risk son can not leave the house.

He sounds like the type who'll head to his "essential" gun shop and arm himself for the next confrontation. This pandemic is the best business news for the NRA and gun manufacturers that they could possibly have. I would imagine that they hope it lasts for a long period and makes them billions. "Gotta make hay while the sun shines" and this virus is their "sun".
