Currently there's a huge shortage of eggs in stores here.. I don't know about where you all live, but here eggs are as rare as their mothers teeth apparently in many places... I only learned about this the other day from a friend having not been to the supermarket for while myself ...
...so I had already a couple dozen eggs in the fridge..and as it's only me that eats eggs in this house, I felt I needed to preserve most of them for use in baking etc, as these shortages gets worse ... so I've just frozen a dozen whole raw eggs...
You all may already know that you can freeze raw whole eggs but I didn't know this at all until the other day..( there's lots of Youtube videos)... and so I have separated yolks from whites and added them to a deep ice cube tray individually.. ( if your ice cube tray is not made of silicon then spray it with a light coating of oil first to help release them when you need them).. and then I mixed 4 whole eggs together ( you have to gently fork them together don't incorporate air, just gently break the yolks into the whites)... then I poured those into a small clip seal container, and I've frozen them all
To defrost simply sit the container in warm water fro a few seconds... and they will release and can be used exactly the same way as a fresh egg..
