For our hollydolly and her husband...............

awwww thank you soo much , how very kind. 🥰🌹💐🧡

I'm very happy to tell you that I'm much better than I was thank the lord , and hubs who was so much more poorly than has started to make a significant improvement, he managed to be up and about yesterday for 5 hours.. so he's definitely doing better, although still very little energy ..., but it's been a worrying time for me trying to get him well,.. now he's complaining he needs a haircut..so he must be feeling better..

the best to you both, stay strong.

Hi, Holly
I'm going to break the habits of a lifetime.
This is a one off, mind you, I'm sending you and your fella one of my virtual, 'legendary' pots of tea, two rounds of toast, and my very last jar of my favourite marmalade (Why am I feeling feint? 😊), plus......wait for it......not one, but two big hugs. One is for you, but you can give the other to your fella, I wouldn't want him to get the wrong idea.....😊
Get well soon, lass. 😊

Best wishes Holly & Hubby!

Bless you Bill, Nate, and Bonnie.... 🥰 ( hubs is asleep at the moment, he can't seem to get past a few hours of being up just yet, he's still getting short of breath after just a little bit of getting around, so haircut is gotta wait for another day.... and I'll pass your best wishes onto him, he'll be very touched I know....

Thanks Toffee, yes we're definitely staying home.. been 11 days now since hubs has been out of the door except for a few minutes in the garden in the last 2 or 3 days. I'm almost completely over it myself just still a little tired , and he's getting better each day.. but it's been much slower for him than for me .

I passed on all your best wishes ... and he was astonished and overwhelmed esepcially when I read out that they came from people from America, Australia, & Canada as well as here in the UK... he was just humbled by it and by you all ... so thank you all very much from him... and once again from me it's been a scary time for us, but hopefully nearly over, God willing 💞

Awww....You two must be losing weight. I hope you aren’t too dehydrated. That’s a long time to be stuck inside so sick that you can’t get up.
Glad you are feeling better and hopefully he will follow suite. 💐🌻🍁
I was only in bed a day and a half, I couldn't keep anything down, including water I was very sick (V&D) and the fever , so I did get dehydrated during that time but after those days I could eat very small amounts but was able to drink despite feeling queasy , but since the last few days I've been able to eat normally again , although a little less than usual .....

hubs didn't get sick in that way as I did in the beginning ( NO V&D) , but he couldn't eat at all, was just too ill and feverish to even think about food much less face it ..but he was able to drink water . He'd wake and drink the water by his bed of which I added a little glucose then fall back into almost coma like sleep with the high fever , for the first 3 days.. no food tho' ..

... after that he was able to drink a shot of Fresh ginger, freshly squeezed lemon and apple juice, (just one shot no more) first thing in the mornings for the next couple of days and which he's now having every morning , then later still , able to eat small amounts,.. and now tonight he's managed a whole Vegan escalope about the size of his hand , and some broccoli... , and you're absolutely right he's lost an amazing amount of weight in this last almost 2 weeks.. surprisingly very noticeable indeed. .. ( no beer or JD , and a restricted diet) but we've not weighed him

I don't think I've lost any myself tho' but I might just jump on the scales and see...

A little tip for you, Holly........when you 'jump' on the scales, cheat, stand on just one foot and you won't weigh as heavy.....that's what I do....😊
