May I post another plea for prayer?

I'm asking again for a simple, heartfelt prayer to help the world. I hope you will indulge me. This is needed so badly! Please refrain this time from mocking and belittleing me for this plea. All humanity needs our strong thoughts and focused prayer.

The world is in such a tender state right now. The mass of intellect in the world can override the prevailing ignorances. Can we all pray to God, (if this is your belief system) asking to help lift ourselves and the world from despondency, evil and pain? If you do, Please ask with a sincere heart. Really FEEL the prayer from the depth of your soul. The angels know the sincerity in your soul. They know the love and the fears you hold. (better than you know yourself).

The thoughts of men are at varied levels, lingering in the atmosphere of the Earth. This affects the consciousness of all mankind. Please,I beg you, Lift the quality of your thought! You can create love in the mind and send it to all the world! Once the minds of humanity think beyond their own desires and concentrate on what is needed to help the world, angels rush in to help achieve this goal!

Miracles are a way of exacting specific results when other natural movements do not effect change. These movements will be explained by the natural laws of Earth. Not all circumstances of Earth are flexible enough to incorporate the enactment of things beyond natural phenomena. But the life force, or "soul" is part of God.

When a moment of the soul is discovered, the soul opens to recieve God. The moment is recieved in a trembling, a gasping, a fluttering, a gentle lifting. To experience the soul is as if you were watching a butterfly move from a cocoon. You are becoming a beautiful creature of God. YOU ARE YOUR SOUL. This experience is of the self, not any group action. The love within is sweet, tender, subtle ,soft, gentle and you are in your purest movement. The wonders are within your beautiful soul. The connection to God abides in the soul.

Prayer to God is not just a hope of change. It is a solid communication with God. If we on Earth can lift our level of thought and bend to God in sincere, focused prayer, miracles could ensue! Please pray,in your own sacred way to help mankind. The world needs your help so badly! Thank you.

Again, It's not my intent to offend any religion or belief system. or absence of belief.
 

I wake up thanking God he kept me and my loved ones safe through another night. I stay in a state of prayer through the day. Faced with more medical issues I ask God to give me strength to get through another day. I bless each person that enters my home. From the meals on wheels people to the grand daughter bringing me groceries. I bless those close friends praying for me and with me over the phone and by email.

The light of God surrounds me. The love of God enfolds me. The presence of God watches over me. The power of God protects me. Wherever I am , God is. And All Is Well.

This is a card I have had for several years from the Episcopal Church. We substitute you in the original post to me to make it more personal. I say this several times a day.
 
My prayers are always spur of the moment and very brief. Example: I follow a group on FB called Shih Tzu Rescue (based in Florida) and they had a post yesterday about needing donations. Normally they generate revenue through boarding, but because of the virus, that $$ has dried up. They have approx. 100 dogs in their care (not all are Shih Tzus) and some full time staff, so they are hurting. So, I offered up a brief plea to God to please help these folks do his works. (I'll be donating this morning as soon as I can find my debit card.)

These times seem to call for more and more prayers.
 
As a Humanist, I don't believe in any deity , but that does not mean I do not have faith.
The world is in a pretty bad way at present, but I believe in the good will , determination and ingenuity of people to work together to find solutions.

So no matter what our beliefs, let's all pull together in whatever way we can to make things right. And as the Irish comedian Dave Allen used to end by saying, "may your god go with you"

Buckeye, I also follow that Shih Tzu group. Have made a few donations over the years. We lost our pup several years ago.
 
How do we reduce the wrangling, disagreement, arguing on religious threads?
Why don't we keep threads separate-one for believers and
one for non-believers.
I wonder if the believers can stay off the non-believer's thread.
The urge of believers to correct others 'wrong thinking' is strong, as it is for non-believers

I doubt that both groups would comply.
Our species wants to correct the errors in other's thinking,
while ignoring the holes in their own.

If the wrangling continues Matrix will ban religious threads.
This is his site, remember that.
 
I don’t see any wrangling, disagreeing or arguing on this thread whatsoever so don’t understand your need to post such a request here on.
Was there a particular reason you felt the need to do so?

Are you saying that unless members believe in the exact same way as the OP believes and expresses it in the same manner, that they need to find another thread or not post at all? And if members have a bit different opinion then they shouldn’t post it since it’s considered ugly? How are you judging your posts on this thread?

I'm saying, we believe our post or our beliefs are superior
to others. Were humans, full of the pomposity that entitles.

The conflict religious posting brings is greater than the conflict of other topics.

My post are as error prone as any other.
I'm suggesting- not telling.
 
I belong to an online prayer group. We pray and meditate every day - for those whose names are on the "request for prayer" list. Of course, we also pray for the countries and leaders. Do believe in the power of prayer. Think more things have been wrought by prayer than the world dreams of.

Thanks for suggesting this, Gaer. Of course it is much needed.
 
From the Gospel Matthew:

“When you pray, you shall not be as the hypocrites, for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and in the. corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men.

That quote was written around 2000+ years ago and still stands today.
