Guns From Vending Machines

Some great stories on that site - they're sort of a proto-Onion. ;)

Knowing my luck, I'd put in enough coins to get a 1911 .45 with pearl grips, but it would hang up and instead release a cheap Japanese .22 derringer. :(

I think Facebook did a study and released it last week. 25% of their readers were not able to tell satire from reality.

Given some of the other hare-brained schemes & ideas that have been generated by the political right & their shills in the NRA, the idea of them proposing something as outlandish as gun vending machines, really doesn't sound all that far-fetched.

I mean, we're talking about a bunch of people who advocate arming teachers in public schools as a supposed remedy for the violence brought about by the US drowning in guns, that they mostly created to begin with.

Was probably a good idea back when it was written, but should have had adjustments made a few decades ago.

The last condom machine I remember seeing, was in the men's room of a bar I used to frequent.

Somebody had written on it... "These cookies are stale & they taste funny!!!"

Cruel, very cruel, but furriners are known for it, especially those from the residue of the defunct British Empire. At least your queen is a class act...

Some posters on here must think the Swiss are really stupid for insisting guns be in every home. That is one of the safer countries in Europe.

Their gun culture is rather different to US....in fact, their culture is rather different...

Rght you are. They even carry their guns visibly on public transportation. The guns we mostly have problems with in the US are the ones the criminals cause us with their unregistered gun, stolen or black market sources. Registered and private owned guns are not our problems.

This recent young girl accidentally shoothing her instructor was tragic and very unfortunate. But definitely not a typical problem for guns in the US. I do think the instructor forgot to have a hand over the girls arm, or the weapon, to help her to keep the gun pointed forward when fired automatically. Just an over-site error.

Just another hot button for the anti gun folks to run with. It is not stuck to political parties as Sen Read has spoken out against gun control legislation. It is nothing more than personal opinions.

Once I owned a gun. Started with BB guns when little, then moved to .22 semi automatics. Joined the gun club at the police station and traveled on match shoots in the area. Guns were fun. But eventually I gave them all away. Tired of the responsibility I guess.

Yeah, they aren't spoon fed a steady diet of violent imagery packaged as entertainment from the time they're able to walk & talk into adulthood.

Their culture doesn't worship violence & thuggery the way a large portion of ours does.
