What might we find you doing as part of your usual morning routine?

Go potty; put on my robe; get a mug of coffee, flick my mouse to open the PC; check any E-mail (There are @ least 6 or 8 there), Then get on this forum and see what's new and/or exciting. Usually it's Gael and/or Seebreeze who have opened up interesting topics to get things rolling, and I sometimes hop on those.
Afterwhile, wander into the kitchen and make some kind of breakfast and read the morning newspaper.
I get up at about 7.30am, have my shower, dress, have my vitamin supplements and two glasses of water, feed the fish and then go out for my first walk of the day, which lasts about 25 minutes. I come home and switch my computer on, check my e-mails look in on forums etc. At 9.30am I have my breakfast (nuts, dates an apple and a cup of instant coffee) in front of the TV. This takes about 10/15 minutes. I then go for my second walk of the day, which lasts about 20 minutes. When I come home I usually have a second cup of coffee, and have a chat with my husband for a few minutes. I do any chores that require my attention, then shut myself away in my room with my computer until lunchtime. The only changes to that routine are if I have to go out somewhere in the morning, which I would try to do after my second walk of the day.
I don't like surprises and I don't like change in general. Ironic as my whole life has been characterized by sudden and drastic changes.
People whose lives have been full of sudden and drastic changes are exactly the ones who don`t like change or surprises,I have found. My foster daughters and my DIL are perfect examples of that. Their childhoods have been full of change and surprise, so now you can`t even get them a birthday gift without them wanting to tell you what it is-or not being able to stand not telling you what is in the package they have wrapped for you.
Being a grandfather and raising an 8 and 15 year old there is no such thing routine in the AM,you like to think there is but hell there isnt any.
Gael, this topic has already been discussed here in Chit Chat....

Usually up at 4:30 am, 30 minutes before the alarm sounds. I either read or get up and exercise, depending on which part of the body has the greatest need. (Ugh, both) Get the body sufficiently decorated for the work environment, and commence preparation of two farm fresh eggs and half a grapefruit for breakfast. Scarf those down, feed the dogs, and hop in my vehicular device and head to work.
Scratch my hind end
Well.....I thought it was sorta a givenScratching the wrong area!!!!! .
