Red marks on lower arm

I don't think it was bugs. Still too cold here for much insect or spider activity, although I've see jumping spiders in the widow casements. They are so tiny, I doubt they could bite that far apart.

The look like scratches to me. The bug would have to have some serious fangs to do that. Were you doing something outside. Rose bushes? Raspberry bushes? Barberry shrubs?

Yes, mowing the lawn and I have to get close to spirea bushes in the front yard.

With those abandoned tires next to my property, I am concerned about mosquitoes, but still kind of early for them.

After mowing, string trimming & trimming brush in the yard, I usually have scratches & bruises on my legs & arms that I didn't feel while working. It reminds me that we're old & bruise easily.....:)

From googling 2 bites; this website came up with spider bites.

"It's not always easy to see, but a true spider bite will present itself with two puncture marks. The spider's fangs cause these marks when they pierce the skin."

I would see a doctor if gets worse.

I have similar from yard work. Yesterday, it looked like a rash. Today, it looks more like scratches. I washed, applied peroxide, and then doused with Calamine lotion. As long as you aren't itchy and it isn't spreading, I'd try simple things. As for mosquitos,
I had a pond-full of larvae over 6 weeks ago!

I say scratches because I have marks like that all over my arms from trimming hedges.
