I watch this show occasionally and what stands out is how senseless the murders are and second, how little effort the shooters put forth to hide from the cops after the crimes. Life is so cheap to the killers it makes you shake your head as you watch. Some even laugh as they are handcuffed while some just appear to see it as just another day in the life. We truly live in different worlds.

I have thought pretty much the same when I watch it myself .......... Last night for example.

I suppose , if one has made no "life" for themselves ? they have little or nothing to lose ?

These people that murder and have no conscience are either Sociopaths or Psychopaths. Either one possesses a lot of evil. Back in the mid 1980's, Pennsylvania had a serial killer by the name of Gary Heidnik.

Here is a short story of his crimes.
Gary Heidnik

Dubbed the "House of Horrors" killer, Gary Heidnik murdered two women in his North Philadelphia home, where he held six victims in chains, raping them and using electrical shock on them during 1986 and 1987.

Those who survived said he kept them half naked in his basement, feeding them dog food laced with human remains.

He was arrested after one of the captives escaped and alerted police.

In 1999, he became the last person to be executed in Pennsylvania.

That is one tv show I cannot watch cuz to me its the slowest moving action crime show ever......even tho its replicated from real life
stories and situations.

I agree here as well......they do drag it out too long. That is why I am not a [regular] viewer .
Another gripe about them .... after a commercial break, they go back about a third & start over from there....constant repeat .

All tools, to sell product .... IMO.

Agreed- it's interesting, but it can get a little tedious, especially when they run 2-3 episodes in a row.
Not sure if that's the way it is on A&E, because I get the show on escapetv.

I only watched a couple of shows for same reason. Too much time involved compared to entertainment value. I'd rather read a good book.

But that's just me. I'm glad others enjoy it. Different strokes ... and so forth.
