Whats something you have always wanted to do, but to this day still have never done it?
I’ve been to Uluru but not Kakadu ,we traveled out to see it in the early morning and again in the evening it’s well worth seeing, as is kings Canyon if you ever get to UluruI would like to see Uluru and visit Kakadu National Park before I go back to 'The Dreaming'
On my first trip to Australia, I landed in Melbourne. We took The Great Ocean Road back to SA, stopping in to small towns. Imagine my surprise and delight to see snow when we stopped at Kryall Castle! I hope you get to experience the snow, Kadee.Travel approx 1000 km from my home state of South Aust to Victoria to see snow as I’ve never seen it
However it’s unlikely our borders will be open till September ( spring here in Australia ) so I won’t get to see it this winter .
I feel your pain on this. Last time we went to Europe it was a 24 hour ordeal of airports, layovers and planes. Add in a 6 hour time difference and resulting jet lag - by the time we got to our front door we felt like we'd spent 15 rounds in a ring with Mike Tyson.Been to New Zealand. It's been a life-long dream.. Never could afford to do it and it's such a long flight it would have eaten heavily into my annual holiday allowance.. now I've retired and can afford it..I've still got an O/H who works who wouldn't want to travel that far on his holidays... ..plus now at 65 I'm not sure I could cope with a 30 hour journey and all those various airports and transfers... I'd have to go for a couple of months
We've been to Bali a few times, and stayed in a grass hut. No exotic cocktails, though, just beer.I'd like to go to somewhere like Bali or Aruba and stay in one of those grass huts with the balconies and go out on the beach and just bask in the Sun and wade in the ocean in have an exotic cocktail.
OMG!!!!! You have GOT to go to Alaska!!! But don't take a cruise. Drive up the Alcan, in the Spring! See Skagway! See fairbanks! See Seward and Homer! Drive all over Alaska! It's the trip of a lifetime!I'd like to see Alaska.
Me too Marie..same here I won't fly but if I could take my dog I'd go by boat, non Covid-19 of course.Have always wanted to visit Australia. Won't make it though. Too long by boat and I won't fly.
From my personal experience, it's highly overrated, just mhoBe in Times Square on New Years Eve.
I'm 99.99% sure that's not going to happen, but there's always that .01%, y'know?

Have sex standing up in a hammock, if not that then while bouncing on a trampoline.
