I'd be quite happy to 'drive' that around town. Always like something a bit different. Nice!

AaahI once had a Dodge Caravan it was good for a few years and then the motor blew up.
Good point. It's all relativeWhat is old? Our "old" car is a 2010 Volvo v70 with just 77,000 miles. Our "new" car is a 2011 Honda CRV with about 93,000 miles.
Plenty of life in them both, although we are talking about maybe getting a new car next year. It makes no sense economically but there have been big improvements in safety over the last 10 years.
Well I'm hoping if I can get some money saved up I can a different used car somewhere. Can't afford anything new.
I once had three Renault R10's. Two of them were 'parts' cars. Best car that I ever had! You could crank start it, or roll it to start it. Very easy to push, even for me! The body stayed mint forever. It was wonderful in the snow! Sigh - I miss it so!mine is a ten year old Renault Scenic on about 75,000 miles, i am trying to convince my son to upgrade and take my car, his is about 15 years old, i will look for an 8 year old with built in sat-nav diesel... our govt is on about giving folk like me £6000 for my car if i buy a new one... i have only ever own one brand new car, the stupidest thing i have ever done, i lost a fortune on it... where as a low mileage 8 year old is generally a good buy...
Flintstones comes to mind!Hey, I've got the same year and model.![]()
and it looks like I'm just around the corner from you.

Those both appear to be in great shape. You clearly take good care of them.
I'm still driving a 1998 Nissan Sentra. Ordinary key. Manual windows. But I changed the cassette player and replaced it with a CD player that was on sale. That was like a miracle. I installed it myself. There were myriad wires to hook up. I never expected it to work but it did on the first try.I have a Fiat Punto registered 1996. Low mileage 38814 - don't drive it that often now but I do drive it , always maintained it with a service, if necessary, and always the required MOT and Insurance which is very low because of the years of 'No claims'. I love it because of it's simplicity. Doors open with an ordinary key no electric 'fob'. Windows are manually wound up or down. Sun roof has a handle that you turn by hand. Great rubber type bumper at the rear so no problems if someone went into the back of the car (obviously at a slow speed) and I have a cassette player.Think it might be heading towards car heaven at the end of the year but the idea of buying a more modern car does not appeal to me. Perhaps I should get a scooter!!!!!
