It's funny, but in thinking back on the nose saying, I recall the fear that would flush through me at the thought of going through life with my finger stuck in my nose! :)

In a kids world everything seems so real.

Laughing so hard reading your post, because it reminds me of how I used to say to my kids (when they were babies), as I'd pluck them up from the floor to take them into the bathroom to change them, "let's go you little stinker"!
 
"Move! You make a better door than a window!" (My mother when I'd walk in front of the TV set)

"Aww, you don't know what's good!" (My mother when I'd reject a food item, said distainfully)

"Good then, more for me!" (Alternately said by my mother when I'd reject a food item)
