Hello from South Carolina

Thank you for the recommendation! Will do!

In you mentioning psychedelic sounding, you made me think of a favourite 60's group of mine, Strawberry Alarm Clock! :)
Another of my favorites. Rainy Day Mushroom Pillow is my favorite. They are the perfect band to trip out on. I don't do that anymore, but back in the day they were the perfect band for that.

OMG, yes... I still trip-out on Rainy Day Mushroom Pillow, and I've never even done drugs before! :)

We have the CD, and I never tire of it! So many great songs!

We Canucks are behind your dream, Anne!
Well looking how you all have handled the Covid-19 pandemic compared to the debacle that our government has yet to show that they can handle it it looks like your government has it at least somewhat together up there. Here is is ridiculous. I don't want to go into it because that is the first thing I saw when I joined here is don't get into political discussions.

Here's hoping for positive change for you!

Keep your fingers, toes, etc crossed, Anne, and know that we have ours crossed for you, too! 🤞

Welcome Trippy Hippie!

I love your name and avatar and would long to hear more about Woodstock. ☮
Thank You, I can tell stories about Woodstock a lot. I see you have a section for stories called Diaries and I just might start one about my Woodstock experience. There might be a few R-Rated things in there excluding the drugs and I did not see any free love going on in public other than kissing and making out, but there was nudity and I am my girlfriend took part in that as well. It was so free though and no one really paid attention to it at all. It was just how we were expressing ourselves to the music or just how we felt at the time. Like I said in my other posts the amount of love and caring that was being sent off in that place from all those people and even the performers was mind blowing. If you needed something it took literal a minute and you had it. I don't know how to explain it any better than other than it being an experience of a lifetime.

Anne. It's been such a pleasure chatting with you, and I can't thank you enough for taking the time to spend sharing a few experiences and stories of yours related to Woodstock 69, with me!

We'll be sure to chat again! I'm a regular here, everyday, and multiple times, so I'm super easy to find! LOL!

Wishing you a wonderful day! :)

Looking forward to chatting with you again Marg.

I have visited the Toronto area back in the 80's and it was very nice. One of the cleanest cities I have ever visited.
You would just LOVE the Island (Vancouver Island)!

If ever you do get a hankering to visit, please get a hold of me and I'll be glad to tell you all that you need to know about Beautiful British Columbia! :)
