I am beginning to get mighty tired of repairing my sprinkler system. I walked out to get the newspaper and saw that one of my inground popup sprinkler heads was not working right. This is the 3rd time this season.
I should know by now that any repair that I estimate will take 15 minutes is going to take 45 minutes to an hour. But there I was out in the heat digging up a broken sprinkler when the heat index was 100F. Fortunately, I had all the parts.
But I was sopping wet with sweat and a little ticked off when I finished. Why don't they make these things out of more durable materials?
