Hey, I'm no Julie Andrews, but I've got a few of my favorite things

In;

Daily routines

My favorites;

Waking
With my lady at my side

Putting my hand on her lower back
Gently massaging with the heel of my hand
This wakens her
She loves it

That first coffee
at sunrise



Breakfast
any
But pancakes are my favorite

That first poop

Stopping....resting
after hard toil
Looking at what was just accomplished
(no, not my first poop....that was easy...hey, I'm a dog, I can poop on command,
no, I'm talking about work)
Moving along....

A huge swig of water....from the hose, on a hot day

The sun bath in summer



Laying out
Letting ol' sol dry me




Dinner
No matter what it is, 'cause I don't eat 'til I'm hungry
and when I'm hungry, everthing tastes good

That second poop

Sitting out
with my lady
early evening
rehearsing the day


Anyway, these are a few of my favorite things

Mine aren't as regimented as your's, so I can't really post what an average day is like.

My favorite things are having an ice cold brew, listening to music, watching a good movie, having a good nights sleep, eating my favorite foods!

Waking up,,alive

letting the dog out of her crate
Seeing that she is alive.

Making coffee before hubby gets up.

Saying 'good morning' to hubby when he gets down stairs.

Stare at the computer,,reading news.
reading emails from sons.

Cool weather is a must at our house,, which isn't happening this Summer.
Ditto cloudy days.

Cooking food that both of us enjoy is a crap shoot on some days.

What I don't enjoy is the daily taking of meds.

going to doctors..

that the world as hubby & I knew it is changing.

And a lot of Misspelling ,,, as in my board name ,, the i is in the wrong place.

Toms on the vine leaves and warm Treacle's whiskers
Brasso cleaned kettles and fingerless mittens
Amazon packages tied up with weird string
These are a few of my favourite things

Cream Silk made pillows and Austrian strudels
Doorbells and spy holes and cupboards of noodles
Water in bird bath to clean all their wings
These are a few of my favourite things

When the cat nips and my skin stings
and my face is sad
I simply remember the Forum I'm on and then I don't feel so bad .........

I can't carry a tune in a bucket so what I write is strange & disjointed today.
Sitting at the computer dozing ,, whilst on the couch hubby is happily snoring.

Grey clouds fight with the sunshine as they drift by.
Birds may be a chirping ,, but my Tinnitus is louder.
Call you hear me?

watching a good thriller movie'
love crisps but stopped buying them as hubby must not eat that stuff . ewwww /
hearing from my sons ...
driving away from the car wash-cleaned inside and out ...smelling like new !

1. Making a nice long list of things I need to do today.
2. Not feeling the need to do any of them if I don't want to.
3. Naps (hence item 2).

Cute warm, soft puppies

Cute warm soft big dogs; the sound of a dog contentedly snoring at my feet.

The smell of the air after the rain

Big red hibiscus flowers

Cherry tomatoes right off the vine and still warm from the sun

The ocean

Watching the sun come up

Watching the snow come quietly down through my window in a nice warm house

My artificial hips that have allowed me to walk again!

Franks pizza,Dustys ice cream
My 2 adorable kitties,Bella and Bud, they love to snuggle and purr
My peaceful little apartment
Life...I had a close call in 2010 from over self medicating.
Good friends
Sorry, I don’t sing there would be dogs howling all over the state!

Reading a good book while the rain patters gently on the window... candlelit room and the windows open in the fall so I can hear the crickets... giggling with my 7yo granddaughter... freshly brewed Barry’s Irish tea and homemade scones
