Thanks. I don't want to go wireless. I researched the same type of article before and selected the cable. I have a late model Samsung phone so it should work. I'm looking forward to it because there's many things I can do on a bigger screen.
Wireless?? I wasn't referring to anything wireless. You just have to make sure the equipment is compatible. I have that standard for my player to the tv but no wireless on that. I think I'm confused as to what you're wanting.
Let me get what you are telling me what to do.You sent me a link. I opened it and read the whole thing thoroughly. It gives four options on how to hook up your cell phone to your t.v. One of the options is wireless. So I'm telling you I dont want to use wireless. I'm getting a headache. Yep you are confused. I think I explained it in more than one post as what I am trying to do and I'm confident that I will accomplish it. Yes I know how to hook up a CDPlayer to my t.v. That's relatively simple.

True. I try to buy only things I really need if I can get them for less delivered to my door. My husband, on the other hand, gets up in the middle of the night and buys things from Amazon that we truly don't need. He is also a sucker for infomercial buying which is why I'm glad that we cut the cord on cable TV and do most of our watching through streaming.

If only it was that easy. The one I bought is for phones, but not all phones. I did ask Best Buy. I went there. I showed them my phone. They said micro to HDMI but there's more than one type micro. I have a bunch of charging cables and not all are the same.
Yeah it's a mess. I've had people ask to borrow my charger and it's like I don't even have the same style of phone. None of them are ever the same.
Except for Apple. Their lightning chargers fit all their phones and tablets. It's a much simpler connection as well.
I wonder if there's an adapter you can buy to plug that phone into that would plug into the HDMI? That phone one you have is fairly wide and flat though. There may not be anything for it.
Yep I wonder as well. See that's where it's difficult to order online. You can't tell until you receive it if it will work. Actually they are all the same width, the picture might not show. It's the depth.
