No one can make up Happy - that's an inside job.
Now I’m trying to figure out a way to do this measurement. Considering I’m shrinking, is the distance between fingertips changing too.If you spread your arms out, the length from fingertip to fingertip is the same as your height.
♫♫ What do ya get when you kiss a guy?Maybe that's what Dionne Warwick was trying to warn us about.![]()
I knew we were squashed but I didn't know it was that bad. So why is our government determined to have even more people joining us?There are more people in the U.K. than in Canada, Australia, Norway, and Iceland combined. The U.K. population is over 66 million.
God help us, we really don't have the space...![]()
Very true. I did not know about my plumbing until I had an emergency appendectomy. Instead of my appendix being in the lower right quadrant, it was in the upper left. That is the reason I have a 12 inch scar instead of a 2 in scar. I also have a horsehoe kidney, where the 2 are fused together and lower in my abdomen.Situs inversus is a congenital condition in which the major visceral organs are reversed or mirrored from their normal positions. Although cardiac problems are more common, many people with situs inversus have no medical symptoms or complications resulting from the condition, and until the advent of modern medicine, it was usually undiagnosed.
Situs inversus is found in about 0.01%[1] of the population, or about 1 person in 10,000. In the most common situation, situs inversus totalis, it involves complete transposition (right to left reversal) of all of the abdominal organs. The heart is not in its usual position in the left chest, but is on the right, a condition known as dextrocardia (literally, "right-hearted"). Because the relationship between the organs is not changed, most people with situs inversus have no medical symptoms or complications.
My mother's appendix was in her back. She had to have emergency surgery also but they did not know it was her appendix.Very true. This is what causes heat stroke and heart attack. If a person stays out in the heat for an extended period of time and does not drink, their blood will begin to get sticky and the cells would lump together possibly causing a blood clot. This is why it is important to drink when out in the heat.We all know dehydration kills. Why? Because without water the blood thickens to a paste like substance so it does not flow.
And I heard a doctor say that both men & women fart the same - around 20-30 times per day. Not all are felt. What I want to know is who did this test?
Farts are really fast. They've clocked in at 3.05 meters per second, which is roughly 7 miles per hour. That's faster than your standard hoverboard btw, which are also, coincidentally, flammable.
I love to eat crabs but after seeing this pic, I will not look at crabs the same... LOLView attachment 124361
"Decorator Crab" in its tactical camouflage - Indonesia
Decorator crabs are crabs of several different species, belonging
to the superfamily Majoidea, that use materials from their environment to hide from, or ward off, predators. They decorate themselves by sticking mostly sedentary animals and plants to their bodies as camouflage or, if the attached organisms are noxious, to ward off predators.
Yes, some are farts and others are poonts. And some are just blips. I heard it was 14 times a day which truthfully I did feel was a bit understated. And I heard a doctor say that both men & women fart the same - around 20-30 times per day. Not all are felt.
