Do you chew your food well or just go fast at it?

It's something that I've worked on since I stopped working and have unlimited time.

Years ago I was a very fast and efficient eater due to limited time for meals at school and at work.

I remember being embarrassed on a few occasions in restaurants when I finished my meal well before the other people at the table.
Bea.....I can almost hear your guests whispering....."The greedy Minx has scoffed her's already, don't turn your back or she'll have yours too."

I was always a fast eater but now with several teeth missing I had to chew longer. I fixed the situation ,I now cut it smaller on my plate and scarf it down just as fast as I did before. Where there's a will there's a way.
And, Ruth, will some teeth missing, when you are baking a plate-pie, you can make a neat pattern around the rim of the pie. 😊

I used to chew fast, looking forward to eating all this delicious food until, I recently had some problems involuntarily biting the inside of my mouth! So, I have slowed way down, chew it well, enjoy the food more and my digestion is probably better. I have to practice this, it didn't come overnight.

My husband doesn’t chew his food well at all. We couldn’t be more polar opposite. He had to get tested today since someone at his work was tested positive for the virus. Now he has a sore throat. Anyway he came back home famished and made some hotdogs and a hamburger. He eats so fast that I’m surprised that he even tastes it.Yrs I’m a bit worried but we will get through anything together.
