I lost a friend, Former work partner, and one fine young lady.
She was an Outstanding Paramedic, great bedside manor and very cool under pressure.
9 months ago she found a lump in her breast, died yesterday at 42 years old

Cancer has taken too many of my family members and others.

I hope there will someday be a cure for it.

That is sad. My daughter in law was only 49 and her mother before her was 37. No disease has respect for age.

Sorry to hear the bad news. My wife died from cancer & I wouldn't wish this disease on my worse enemies (if I had any). I have always stated that I am much more afraid of cancer than of Corvid-19 but cancer is not "sexy" & Corvid-19 sure has the world "jumpin' & jivin'. Thank you world media! You have done a tremendous job of making everyone afraid.

I am sorry for your loss.

We have thrown hundreds of billions of dollars at this disease and have only made slight advances, but some of those advances have saved lives. I am no Scientist, so I have no understanding about this disease, its causes and its cures, but I do know that we have lost many of good people to it. When and if anyone ever discovers a vaccine that will prevent all forms of this disease, it will be the happiest day on earth up to that time.
