A new study indicates covid-19 could've been in Europe/Italy by September 2019.

Comes from a lung cancer study. 4 subjects already had the virus anti-bodies the first week of October 2019 which means they got the virus in September.

So how did it get so lethal or the lethal strain came from China?

Wasn't there something about Chinese migrants/factory workers bringing it to Italy because it's at or near a point of entry for those coming from Asia?

This finding actually makes perfect sense because a study came out early this summer that covid was found in Spain/Barcelone waste water in March 2019.

This could account for those that seem to be immune because they indeed already had it much earlier than first thought. And like many other disease many probably just wrote it off as a tough cold or something .It also could explain why is spreading so fast now especially with testing.

Personally I also wonder if this thing can actually remain dormant much like a herpes virus lets say and only take hold when the body is under stress, fatigued etc(another thread)

I still wonder if the covid is what I had in May of 2018 ? When I was rushed out of here in an ambulance. And when the dust settled [about 20 hours later] the doc said ......"you picked up a virus I've never seen" But he said I responded well to the medical cocktail he administered , and sent me home. Been fine ever since {knock wood}

Could it have been around way back then ?

If they tested and found it somehow got there. How long did it take to get there.

Also yes it's a dangerous contagious disabilitating event but sometimes I think the attempted micromanagement of it and people sort of created a self fulfilling prophecy and affected patient stress levels, doctor's treatments and research if not under the gun might have produced different results.

I say this because if it was around longer than first thought how come when it became one of if not the most monitored disease in history it got worse.

We will probably Never know the true origin/timeline of this virus....especially if it originated in China. It probably started out with just a few cases, but as people coughed and sneezed on each other, it began to multiply rapidly. Then, with global travel, it spread all over the world, and by the time things like Masks and Distancing were suggested, the horse had already escaped the barn.
