If the article was published on May of 2020 and it stated it may be available next year that puts it right smack in the middle of all the injection distributions for several vaccines projected for early to mid-Spring.
 
I seem to remember sugar cubes. Heard a slower introduction into the body is the way to go anyway. A shot can shock the immune system because conditions went from no threat to a full fledged invasion. Consider any shot like a behind enemy lines operation. Once one gets behind their opponent poop happens.
