"They" say hindsight is 20-20. This is 2020...do you have a lot of hindsight?

I closed the barn door after the cattle got out....feeling. Then trying to reverse that.
My father was charged with the duty of closing the hatch on the hen house when he was a teenager. Unfortunately he managed t shut the fox in the coop along with the chickens, and when he opened it again next morning the fox ran out! 🐓🐕🦊.

Were there any dead chickens?

It's in its DNA. It was doing what foxes do. I feel sorry for the chickens.
My maternal grandfather was interviewed on the subject by a tv crew back in the 1960s/1970s, and made the same point you've made funnily enough, (he was a local councillor for over thirty years, so spoke with some authority. :) ).

Hindsight is simply the understanding of a past event and there are very few of 2020's important events that are understandable although many could have been foreseen and perhaps mitigated.
