Some personal observations on the year we have had

Worse of all is the power that big tech has built for themselves. They pretty much control our TV experience now. With owning about 75% of the commercial platform, they get to pick and choose who gets to watch what shows and because they also control most of the main street media, they chose what news we get to hear and don't hear. They can even lie to us and there's very little, (actually there's nothing that we can do about it), as long as the politicians allow them to keep Section 230 of Internet Legislation in their corner.

Stay at home and all that wasn't any problem for me. Isolation is my baseline. I don't expect 2021 to be much different for most. Perhaps toward the end of the year if everyone would behave themselves and these vaccines actually work.

Glad to be an essential worker even if my job is hard and getting harder on my by the week.
 
This past year has been a bit boring with all the "stay at home" stuff. The biggest "negative" has probably been our limited visits with the kids and grandkids, etc. On the "plus" side, we have saved more money than usual since our visits to the casino's have been quite infrequent. We even passed on our annual Fall visit to Las Vegas this year. Until this virus shows clear signs of being brought under control, we will probably continue this "isolation".
As 911 said, watching TV is becoming an increasing waste of time. The number of commercials has skyrocketed in recent months, and the number of shows worth watching continues to slide downhill, IMO. Even the daily News shows are declining.....I can find more news in 5 minutes on the Internet, than I can by watching an hour of the network or cable news channels.
