François-Xavier Lalanne's life-size bronze hippos, a mother and two children, have moveable parts that reveal a bathroom set comprising a bathtub, a working sink and vanity, and a toilet with bidet. It sold for $2.4 million at a Sotheby's auction in Paris in June of 2020!

Now this has to be the strangest bathroom accoutrements I have ever seen!

I'm bursting inside at the thought of the owner of such going through a bad spell of constipation, and their doctor asking them in a genuine way... when was the last time you sat on the hippo? ROFLMAO!

Well, dagnabbit. Here I am just about ready to remodel my bathroom and somebody's already bought the fixtures I wanted! Just my luck. That's what I get for waiting for the after-Christmas sales.....

Hmm, I think I would also like to add a bidet all decked out in silver disco ball glitter, kinda jazzes up the snow leopard vibe. Free sunglasses provided, of course.
