If we take “in God we trust” off our money what do we replace it with?

Credit to Buckeye who made this comment on a post and I’ve stolen it, 😂, and started a thread.

”In God we trust” does not fit the society of the USA anymore. IMO. Lots of Americans don’t believe in God, most of us don’t believe in the same God, and as a diverse nation it’s time we make changes.

What motto would you put on our money?
 

I loved learning Latin in school and church and think it's a shame it's no longer taught. I still use the Latin I learned in some of my notes relating to my stories or things to do.

Children learn by being taught something a little above their comprehension level, so they are exposed to something higher. Keeping the Latin motto "E Pluribus Unum" gives young people that "something higher", even if they only figure it out when they're older. It enriches society.

How much of the past are we going to toss aside in the name of the future? I think "In God we trust" is a good motto (have both) because it also speaks to something higher and beneficial.
