I don't understand why the term UFO should be the slightest bit controversial. It just stands for Unidentified Flying Object! That could be anything at all: a bird, a rock, a meteor, a piece of space hardware sent up there by NASA, something dropped out of a hot air balloon, a bit of fireworks! All are UFO's.

I never knew "Men In Black" are a real thing. The rumor of them I believe started with the Area 51 story and continues on today. Their function is simply to persuade those that claim to have seen something that they did not see anything. Comparing the culture surrounding the UFO issues today is much more open than it was in the 50's so they may or may not still exist. Even Presidents Obama and Clinton admitted they felt they were denied information om the subject.
