It IS resourceful. Unless you forgot to take gas. She didn’t mention gas 😂
Hah! You done good! :ROFLMAO:

Sometimes in interviews, questions such as this might be asked and answers along the lines of the helicopter would be considered resourceful thinking. However, the interviewee would probably lose points for not specifying fuel to go with the helicopter. o_O

I remember when I first interviewed for the contract job that I had been doing up until this year. I am retired, but worked three days a week, three months a year in a software engineering position. I would get called back every year if I wanted the job. Around here, a number of such contract people who are still full time, do that work instead of having a full time job because they don't have the requisite college degree. Those folks can't work for medical companies that design and build invasive (i.e. in the body) medical technology due to FDA regulations. So I am a "shoe in" even in retirement.

Anyway, after the interview was finished, the interviewer, several engineers I would be working with, and I were sitting around the conference table just talking about general engineering stuff. I casually made the comment that "...of course math isn't my strong suit". The room suddenly became dead quiet with everybody staring at me. I sat for a moment and then said "Just kidding!", and everybody relaxed and the conversation went on. I still savor that moment.

Think there's the need to think in "blocks" of needs...covering the major requirements of a solidary life in the specific "desert". Not specific tools, but just perhaps "tools", if desired.

A machete
Giant box of matches
A flashlight one that runs when you wind it up so you don’t need batteries.
