BIG bucks

There was some discussion of minting a few trillion-dollar coins to be held by the government as a symbolic form of currency. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trillion-dollar_coin

I wish that they would bring back the old $500.00 and $1,000.00 bills but it will probably never happen due to potential counterfeiting and the fact that we seem to be moving towards a cashless society.

I don't want to sound as though I'm rolling in money, and just can't spend it all. Far from it. I live very modestly, I drive a 2009 Hyundai. But I live somewhat comfortably. While it isn't much, what I have is paid off. When I think back to my 20s & 30s, I'm not scrounging around for every last cent like I did back then. I guess I'm saying I don't have any of the big bucks, just enough of the little ones.

If our government continues to spend foolishly, we may someday need a $1000 bill to buy a pack of toilet paper. There are already several countries which are so "mismanaged" that their currencies are worth a fraction of a penny.
In mainland China, some of the paper currency was worth 10 cents usd
But
That was in Y2K

Things have changed a bit since then

I remember my dad telling me that after WWII during the occupation of Japan he saw guys rolling wheelbarrows down the street overflowing with yen.

Did you know at one time the U.S. printed a $100,000.00 bill?

Not bad...

Here is ours!

One Million dollars worth!

And... bigger than any other coin ever made, and... the gold from which it was crafted is “more gold than any other gold in the world.

At “five nines pure” (99.999%) the gold contains less than 10 parts per million of other elements like silver, aluminum and zirconium, one decimal place purer and hundreds of thousands of dollars more valuable than any gold coinage minted in Vienna or elsewhere, ever.

Weight, (kg): 100

No, I never knew that. I don't even like it when someone gives me a $100 bill so I know I'd lose my mind if I got a $100,000 bill. Obviously it would not be for use by the general public.
