Agree. Their sound was too "light" for my tasteI simply did not like their sound. Plain as that. Paul and John wrote some good songs as did George.
.... now, I just love the Rolling Stones!

When you see two Suns in the sky, that is called a Sundog.
I did not know this. They sure are cute names.A rainbow of colors on the ground, say in a puddle, is called a Sunbow.
Wowzer!!!!
I am probably one of the very few people around that did not like the Beatles. As far as I was concerned, they ruined music with their twangy guitars. Had they not had the long hair, they would have been just another musical group, although, Lennon probably would have been a very popular songwriter. He did have talent at writing music. You, know Tony, I was born in the 30's, so the smooth sounds of classical, swing and the big band era were what I was accustomed to. The Beatles sounded so tinny to my ears. I never figured out how anyone could abide that sound. I love good music. I want to hear instrumentation that is full bodied.
Yes, late on Friday eveningsTwo moons in the sky, it happened to me years ago...it is a reflection.

If you took a penny, doubled the sum everyday, 1-2-4-8 etc. At the end of the month you'd be a Millionaire.
