Being raised to become an officer and a gentleman I was sent to ballroom dancing classes at age 11. At first it was just yuk but then I began to enjoy it and have been a good dancer for many years. Now, my legs would just rather sit and enjoy the music.

I can dance and really enjoy it. My favorites would have to be the Tango and Samba.
Of course, I can still headbang with the rest of them

I know for a fact, if I asked the lovely Nora J to have a go of this with me, I'd probably get one of her famous left hooks under my chin.

We have been dancing Latin & Ballroom forever. Tango is always a crowd pleaser.

Woohoo, lets boogie! I love to dance. Any type. Trouble now my knees won't let me let loose. It used to be the moment I entered a club the music would get a hold on me and I'd head straight for the dance floor. I once dated a very nice guy, but he refused to dance. Drove me nuts. So ended our dating.

Yes I have danced all my life...My secondary school that I went to at age 11 was a dance school . I love dancing more than just about everything except my photography...

I can't dance a step and nether can the hubby. When I was in grade school we had sock hops. I hid in the bathroom.

My mother was a chorus girl, so of course we kids did learn to dance a variety of dances. Of course we did not dance professionally as she did, but we could hold our own on any dance floor.

I really loved going to the dances. I went every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night as a teenager. I met my husband when I was 15yrs old and we would go to the dances together with friends. He didn't like the fast dances so his buddies would dance with me to the fast dances, but they were never allowed to slow dance with me. Only he could dance the slow dances with me. Those were the days.
Took a weekend workshop from him once. Not a nice person...yelled at everyone the whole time.

Not all that long ago, my lady and I went club hoping
Ended up at a twentysomething place
The floor was open
The band cranked it up.....then leveled into something with long beats
