Ever you mean?I don't have to put up with anything I don't like.
Sorry but I'm not going to go there with you. Have a good night.Ever you mean?
Even the annoying guy in the queue in front of you as you wait at the check out, do you call him out every time, or do you just leave your shopping in the store and come home, so you don't have to tolerate him?![]()
Do we really expect to Iive in a world without risk/risks?
That explains their behaviour in a nutshell.People who think whatever was done to them should be held against all mankind
are narcissistic sociopaths.
Fair doos, "you've proved your point too"!Sorry but I'm not going to go there with you. Have a good night.
The friend I referred to earlier, (the one no longer with us), wasn't anyone's estimation of what a "narcissistic sociopath" might be though.People who think whatever was done to them should be held against all mankind

No, that's not true any more than having a gay time means being homosexual. The vernacular term "snowflake" is used to denote people who are easily offended and/or who feel that only their opinion ought to be worthy.Someone should disallow the use of the word "snowflake" as it is not very nice and attributed to those of a certain political persuasion.![]()
Right. Right. Right. And correct! Most of the women I know enjoy men at events. Some are looking to meet a good man. Others just want free drinks. Some like to show off their man. Some know that when it's only women at a gathering the worst female tendencies are magnified and the claws come out. A few just like to not have men around.
Note: For the record, all male events sometimes bring out the stupid Macho Guy stuff. Neither sex is immune from being stupid.
I remember some Russian immigrants who were working for me saying they had more freedom back home than in the U.S. because of all the laws. Some might argue that we've so many laws that just everyone is a lawbreaker of some sort. I am also reminded of a discussion I had with someone about childhood and the freedom to have firecrackers. That some one was what you would call a "do gooder" who would essentially take just about everthing from anybody if it would save someone . Her argument was that if banning firecrackers would save one child from losing a finger or eye, it was worth it. Her argument was just a simple example of loss of freedom by trying to rule against everyone in an attempt legislate against stupidity of the few. There are more laws on the books in America than any other nation one Earth. Makes me wonder how people lived before the invention of pen & paper.

Step one. Look up the term "kvinnokränkning". Note that the term "kvinna" means "woman" in English. Now, see if you can find a comparative term denoting the "kränking" of men.Verisure, I was interested enough in your description of the Swedish laws to try to find something about what you said. The web sites all seem to go up to 2019, so what you are referring to may have happened after that. But from what I found, it sounds like Sweden has mounted a determined effort to stop violence and abuse of women. It says nothing about leering, or it being a crime because the woman says she felt the man was looking at her. Can you give us the source of this information?
I wonder if that's true. Maybe it is. You'd have to break it down to be sure. I was thinking about the American laws on "trespassing" for example. In Sweden, we have a right called "allemansrätt". Parks, lakes, forests, etc. cannot be owned in such a way that its access is blocked by private property laws. I have experienced in the US that beach fronts can be privately owned and you have to pay a fee in order to swim there. Absolutely unheard of in Sweden. But I'm sure that we have laws that Americans would think is crazy too. There are more laws on the books in America than any other nation one Earth. Men who've been raped understand and in many ways the rape of a man is worse.I believe this thread is about women accusing men of rape, and blaming all males. I think the problem is that rape never really was a crime, unless it happened to your daughter. And then, it was a slap on the wrist to short imprisonment depending on the status of the father. No one considered the emotional trauma of rape until recently. I believe what women hold against all men is their treating rape as some kind of "victimless" incident. I have know women, who were raped, and as a man, I had absolutely no idea how devastating rape is. It is way beyond what I would have imagined. I don't claim to understand how they feel, I don't think most men can.
From what I have heard men do react very similarly to female rape victims. In all honesty, I thought getting raped was kind of like getting punched in the nose. Yeah, it hurt, you were embarrassed, but you got over it. A good friend that I worked with was raped at the psych hospital. She was a nurse with 20 years experience at the hospital, and she and her husband owned a bar, that was a nightspot. She had to fire guys, who were on drugs/or dealing. She and her bouncers through guys out, who were on drugs/or dealing. She was not a delicate hot house orchid. She was totally devastated. Her husband had to sleep on the couch for almost a year. She got a lot of counselling, which helped. She almost divorced, which is what most women do, but her husband hung in. I couldn't believe how totally destroyed she was. I would have never thought how rape so destroyed people. Unless it happens to men, I doubt most men do not realize how devastating rape is. I didn't.Men who've been raped understand and in many ways the rape of a man is worse.
It's difficult enough having your home invaded but to have your body invaded .......well! Also, think about a man's or woman's worry over having been infected with some disease or in the woman's case even pregnant. No, I don't think you can forget about it the next day. From what I have heard men do react very similarly to female rape victims.
