CDC Lifts mask guidelines for fully vaccinated people

I say, Praise The Lord. I have to wait 4 weeks to get my second shot, but this is good news.

I agree. I will still carry masks with me when I go out. But If not in a crowd, I would go for it. It will take a while for everyone to be comfortable. I mean, it has been over a year now. Will be hard to kick the habit, and for stores and other places to be fully on board

True. I think we the people need to have some common sense. Those at risk, or in an at risk job (think health care workers) should continue to wear them. I think it will for sure be hard for us to get out of the habit. I think people in areas with high Covid numbers should continue to show discretion . If I were visiting a loved one in the hospital or nursing home, I would probably still want to wear one for now
 
What about the people who refuse the vaccine or won’t wear masks?

Some have been very vocal, especially those that held rallies. Would they be willing to wear something that says they’re not vaccinated? It’s their choice, but I’d sure like to know.

Jules, I was going to post this same thought. I had a neighbor, before I moved here, who was both..anti vax and anti mask. So, he and wife have never worn masks this entire time, and have said they are not getting the vax. But...this is in public. Not sure the feelings in private.

i wasn't aware that the natural immunity lasted long. i thought i read somewhere that you can get it again. am i wrong on that? or do you have info on how long that immunity lasts by chance?

most of the people at work that have had covid still got vaccinated later.

if they have immunity for that long why are they still asking to vaccinate those who've already had it? doesn't make sense. interesting. thankyou.
 
I can't wait to get rid of those disgusting diapers on my face. Once I get my 2nd shot I will not want to wear a mask. If you are a coward who sits and watches the depressing, news night after night, then I guess you better hid in your closet and keep away from people. However, don't complain that life is passing you by, that you have no friends and that you are scared of other people. If you live in a huge city with a lot of people maybe you should move to a small town where people have a different way of life. Around here the small satellite towns around the big bad city are booming. If you live in Toronto, New York or LA then I guess you better keep your mask on for the rest of your life and keep away from people. I think Johnny Cash had it right:
