woman goes berserk over slushie

Maybe Juneteenth should be made into a multi-day celebration, an observance of how the descendants of slaves, living here in the United States, just can't catch a break about anything. I thought it was Burger King who used the motto, "Have It YOUR Way!" She was probably just confused.

Um...I have a question though. Why did the MC boss tell her she couldn't have 3 flavors in her cup? It's self serve and all the flavors are the same price, so what's the harm? If that's not actually an MC rule...which would be highly unusual if it was...this may come up in court and used as provoking the customer. And even be construed as racially motivated....no?
Please don't drag race into this......
The slushies were behind the counter and regular sodas were in front, or so it seemed.

Exactly, unknown, could be policy, or probably the thrasher asked for it in a rude or vulgar or demanding manner, and the manager said no just to indicate, in a polite manner, it was not permitted?

Well Radish Rose said the customer was not going to mix like-kind.
She wanted to mix soda and slushies which are different prices I assume.
Mix soda and slushies? Did not catch that part. Most Mc sodas/pops are $1.00, any size, I don't know what slushies cost, never order them.

I usually say I've seen it all, but always take it back, ha. The woman wanted all 3 flavors in her slushie and when refused, why she just helped herself. This is what customer service people have to continuously deal with in todays world.

And you're right about the abuse food service workers have to take. People think they can insult us and mistreat us all the time because we're just a food service worker. We are not deemed important enough to be respectful to.

I did not say that. I said-

"The slushies were behind the counter and regular sodas were in front, or so it seemed."

I'm done with this topic, it's gotten silly now, imo.

Thanks Marcie, I didn't watch the local news yet, she sure put on an act in court, stellar performance, worthy of a buckeye award.
I think people are turning into spoiled brats. They think they can do or say whatever they want and mistreat people if they don't get their way. The customer is not always right. We want to take care of the customers but not if they treat us like crap. Someone probably made her one like that, that wasn't supposed to so she expected it when she came in again.

She could have said, "Oh, dear me but you know, I don't really care for this mixture. May I try it with just two flavors please? I'm so sorry to be such a bother." And if or when the server refused to mix another one to her specifications, the customer likely would have tossed the concoction all over the server. She didn't, after all, seem like the most civil member of society that I've seen recently. That though, is pure conjecture on my part.

As a general rule these fast food places are only allowed to do what corporate tells them. We have to sit and watch hours of training videos and make all this crap just so. Three flavors isn't the norm for these places. Like I said...some employee probably made her one at one time and she expected it and was mad when they wouldn't do it. This is what happens when people don't follow the rules.

That's just plain sad. But why was she not allowed to have all three flavors in her Slurpee? It's self service, so what the hell? Did she ask permission?
