Since we aren't going anywhere for the summer I decided to get some issues taken care of.
I went to the eye doctor for a check up. The last was in 2014. Believe it or not my eyes haven't changed but I am getting plain reading glasses because I do a lot of close up work.
I have no insurance for that. My daughter suggested I get them online. I had my doubts but she and her husband are very happy with theirs so I thought I'd give it a try.
That didn't go well. It seems the online glass place wants the pupil distance and there lies the problem. The eye doctor says she doesn't do that and of course the eye glass place won't give it to me because they want me to buy their glasses.
Next time I will bring my daughter because she could get blood out of a stone. lol
Next came the audiologist. Had the hearing test and she jacked up my aids but of course she put the pressure on for new ones. I hope my old ones hang in there. I have no insurance for them either.
Finally I went to the dermatologist for sore and raw spots I had on my forehead and on my ear.
I'm not doing this for looks. I'm beyond that. I just don't want these areas to turn into skin cancer. She blasted them with what looked like a blow torch and I was on my way.
Insurance will pay for that after my hefty deductible.
I have no idea what the rest of my body is doing but I feel fine and I will leave it at that.
If I should die they can all comment on what a wonderful new head she had.
