Bill Gates is planning to block the sun

The chief operating officer of Reuters - James E. Smith -is also on the Board of Directors of Pfizer, and therefore works directly with Bill Gates. Pfizer is a worldwide pharmaceutical and biotechnology corporation, which was co-founded by Charles Pfizer (1824-1906).

Sunny, the topic of this thread is about Bill Gates and his preparation to block the sun, not about politics. You're the one who keeps insisting to make this a political issue. You had a humorous clip I posted on a different thread about the virus test removed because you said it was a political issue - but you're the one who keeps inserting the politics.

(a) I don't read or watch Fox News [added: generally; I'll do it if I feel like it.]
(b) I also don't take what Wikipedia says about politics at face value.
(c) Have the Senior Forums rules changed about politics?
It's not a Fox news anything. He does want to filter the sun's rays and weaken them. MIT told him it's not a good idea to create an artificial "volcanic" or "Nuclear" winter by doing this but I guess he won't listen. He believes the Earth is warming too quickly and wants to stop it and he has the money and influence to do anything unfortunately.

I don’t think it’s a great idea but it’s definitely worth exploring

It would be kind of ironic if introducing man made pollution into the upper atmosphere was a tool that could be used to slow global warming.

Anyone who honestly believes that Bill Gates has the power, intention or means of blocking out the sun should take a break from FOX News and the internet.

Again you're injecting your politics and making political accusations. 🙄
FYI I never watch Fox nor any other mainstream news including local news stations.
I search for the truth and make up my own mind based on logic and the things that make sense.

Bill Gates is not a god, nor does he have god-like power.

He thinks he is, and you obey him like he is, so what's the difference?

Bill Gates isn't on the board of directors of Pfizer or Reuters, so where's the crossover?

Very likely the Rockefeller Foundation, which took over the AMA around 1900, started the United Nations in 1945 to help their endeavor of world domination, and started the World Economic Forum in 1990, besides starting and owning the vaccination corporations, own Reuters, Newsweek, and Harvard as well. If you really want to know, then look up the history of the Gates, Rockefeller, Rothschild families, and the history of their many connections throughout at least the last few centuries.

1. The link in your original post was Tucker Carlson on FOX News.

2. I do not "obey" Bill Gates nor do I think everything he does is admirable. Nevertheless I give credit where credit is due. For instance: I don't particularly like Starbucks but strongly credit them with raising the bar of coffee quality everywhere. I dislike Donald Trump but credit him for helping make Covid vaccines happen sooner rather than later.

3. As for connecting the Gates family with the Rockefellers and the Rothschilds, you have got to be kidding. Talk about tenuous connections, the very, very long con, and nearly impossible odds.

But why just pick on that threesome? Where do all these other influencers fit into the conspiracy: Jeff Bezos (Amazon), Mark Zuckerburg (Facebook & Instagram), Ted Turner (CNN), Zhang Yiming (Tik-Tok), Jack Dorsey (Twitter), Larry Page & Sergey Brin (Google), Rupert Murdoch (FOX), Larry Ellison (Oracle), Steve Jobs & Steve Wozniak (Apple), and others. These people have all changed the lives of nearly everyone on the planet, and amassed great fortunes while doing so.

Surely they've been part of this grand conspiracy, as well. Indeed, most have been more influential than Bill Gates in our day to day lives.

John cycling, take another look at your own OP. Right there on the picture, it says "Fox News" loud and clear. So, whether you technically watch that channel on TV or not, you are quoting the channel and one of its most extreme loudmouths on this forum. And things don't get much more "political" than Fox News.

This anti-Gates thing is clearly political, in spite of your attempts to deny it. Would you have had such a hissy fit if Gates were a well-known conservative? And would Tucker Carlson have even wasted his time on the subject? I didn't think so.

First, I have nothing against people working hard to make money. However, I don't think it is right that some people make billions every year while where I live the minimum wage earners just got a 5 cent raise. I'll repeat this in case you think I made a typo: "minimum wage earners got a 5 cent raise." Also, may I say that many of these billionaires pay peanuts in taxes. That could be why the old phrase of "the rich stay rich and the poor stay poor" is pretty well still accurate. There is also a phrase about the "filthy rich" but I will leave it to you to figure out whey some of the rich are called "filthy"?

No one is going to let Gates blow anything out of the back end of some airplanes without thorough scientific and environmental research first. And I don't think he's gonna go rogue and climb aboard his own plane to do it.

Or will he?

The link that I posted is from Odysee.com - not from Fox News. 🤣

It's only political for you two, which is why you keep trying to make it a political issue! 🤪

#1- Bill Gates is a personal friend and advisor of Trumps;
#2- I am not a conservative and I don't care for and don't like Donald Trump;
#3- I don't like Tucker Carlson nor Fox News either, and don't ever watch either of them;
#4- I found the link on Odysee.com when looking up information about Gates;
#5- There are many other links about the very same subject which I could have posted instead of that one;
#6- I only posted this particular one because it was clear, short, and right to the point;
#7- Both of YOU are the ones who keep trying to insert politics in discussions;
#8- You can take your politics and bury them in a hole. 😇

Say what you will, the entire video you linked is Tucker Carlson on FOX.

Since you move from a civil discussion to rudeness in #7, I'm done with this thread.

Oh for heavens sake, being stupid about some things (e.g. Gates and climate) has no relationship to political leanings. Must you inject your politics into everything?

Yeah, JonDouglas, we all recognize the fact that Bill Gates is one of the stupidest people alive. You are absolutely right about that; how did I not realize?

About "injecting politics," as Starsong pointed out, the original video was a Fox News presentation of one of their biggest blowhards shooting his mouth off in a very political way. Scientists do not behave like Tucker Carlson. Every word he shouts on that video screams "politics" at us. We were not the ones who introduced politics. The entire thread was political from the beginning.

But some people in this country (and on this forum) are in denial of reality. Fortunately, a minority.

I said Gates is an idiot when it comes to climate. Try to get it right. As for your seeming preoccupation with Tucker Carlson, that's apparently the problem of your political leanings. You might try learning to focus on the message/story not the messenger. Looks like Tucker got the story right and you didn't because of your hangups/political leaning.

Truth. 👍 Some people will make every effort to politicize virtually any subject or occurrence in order to advance their favorite intellectual pablum.
