The depressing thing is that I always thought of MTV as something for the younger folks.... guess it is.

I felt old today when I found out that Chaz Bono... is 52 years old..!! 52... I remember him as a toddler on the sonny & cher show..

Do i WANT to feel old? Not really...but it is one of those unavoidable pesky facts of life.
The broader question is 'What makes you feel old?' @hollydolly mentioned one common 'trigger'---being apprised of the age of someone we were first aware of when they were children and we were teens or adults can certainly do it.

I enjoyed the videos back then. JJ Jackson, Martha Quinn, Nina Blackwood, Alan Hunter and Mark Goodman were meant to be DJ’s. The videos were awesome back then. I liked the vids by ZZ Top, Tom Petty, Jackson Browne and many others. Some of the original DJ’s are on Sirius XM. Nina Blackwood sounds worse than Kim Carnes. I think Jackson is the only one of the group that passed away.

I avoid the doctors office if I can handle the issues myself. Some of them I can. Where I live there aren't very many good doctors.

That is one thing I do not care for and all the Meds they try and put you on. So I avoid them as much as possible.

I just say NO to all doctors anymore, and everything they have tried to push me to take .. I feel better w/o their pills.
If I die tomorrow, so be it, but I'm doing it on my terms.

Sally cakes, you nailed it. Most of the 'contacts' on my phone start with " Dr."
BTW, back when there were magazines in doc's waiting rooms, they were about 40 years old.
