Because he's smart enough to know that it's not worth getting hurt or killed for what he gets paid.
Of course, the shopper is an idiot - regardless of what he thinks about mask wearing.
I know masks don't protect, but I wear one when it's required. This guy probably enjoys making people nervous - he's passive aggressive.

... and it's not just in America. An anti-vax nurse in Germany injected a saline solution into people's arms instead of the covid-19 vaccine. Most of them were elderly.

Houston’s Harris Health Systems President and CEO Dr. Esmaeil Porsa warned that hospitals are facing “disaster” amid the strain of caring for a surge of Covid-19 patients as the highly infectious Delta variant continues to spread.

“My hospitals are full … What is concerning is the rate by which our Covid-positive patients are increasing,” Porsa said. The hospital system is dealing with “a pandemic of the unvaccinated” and that 98% of the system’s Covid-19 cases since Jan. 1 have been unvaccinated patients.

Yes, to prove how miraculous the vaccine is to sell more of it, it's "98% or 99% effective & just about all Covid cases are unvaccinated."
Don't think; just believe it 'cuz we say so.
And those air purifiers & cleaning products are even better - they kill "99.9% of Covid viruses." That extra .9% is really somethin'.

I wish they would, or at least put them at the end of the line. Their completely self-centered behavior is preventing people from getting what's considered "non-emergency" treatment but otherwise essential treatment such as knee replacement surgery.
