Woman drank, vaped, refused mask on flight to Charlotte. Now she’s been fined $17,000.

If these lunatics keep causing problems on airlines, perhaps they should be thrown in jail for a month, or two, and fined enough to pay for their incarceration. I also think that alcohol sales at the airports, and in flight, should be banned. If a drunk sits around at an airport bar for a couple of hours waiting for the flights departure, he/she will probably be drunk enough to cause problems.

Hope she has the money to pay. Again, FAA needs to bar her from any flight for several years.

I notice that she brought her own alcohol on board. Probably plenty inside her body too.

To enter her house you must first remove your shoes and do not touch anything that does not belong to you. If you would like a beverage bring your own.

So, is this what they call "woman's liberation?" I don't think so. It just sounds like some ignorant drunk that can't handle her booze. Not a hero to me! If you ask me, they should have opened the door and asked her to leave the plane while it was flying.

Why are you suggesting anyone is calling this ‘woman’s liberation’ or that she’s a hero?

I’m not going to argue that it would have been tempting for the flight crew or other passengers to ask her to leave mid flight.

I don't like banning things, but this may be the right thing to do. Airplanes put too many people together in very confined spaces, and bad behavior can cause safety hazards, more so than most places. I used to fly a lot, I am a Delta 6 million miler, see too many drunk passengers... I also quit drinking anything on a plane years ago, it dehydrates and generally makes flying less pleasant for the drinker.

I think drinking booze while flying should be banned....much the same as smoking. A few years ago, while returning from a trip to Las Vegas, we had the "pleasure" of being seated alongside a "drunk. He reeked of booze, and body odor. We had to turn up the overhead air vents to keep from gagging. luckily, it was only a 2 hour flight.

It seems to me that vaping might keep the virus in an air born cloud of danger. I do vape, but now only when no one is around. When I buy e-juice at the store, I am double masked and just purchase what sounds good, no sample tastes. Then wash my hands ASAP.

Yes, Nathan. I come from Canada. All I ever hear is everyone screaming and crying about their so called, "Human Rights." Too bad, I never hear anyone ever talk about their social responsibility. It's alway , ME, ME, ME, ME and I want it NOW, NOW, NOW! We used to be a great country but lately it seems we have just gone to the dogs. Actually, the dogs are doing very well here. They are fat and well pampered. People love their dogs more than their fellow man/woman. Sad!
