I am curious. When it is completely dark in the room and your eyes are closed what do you see? I do not mean think. I mean see.
Sounds a bit trippy to me!I see swirling colors. Very relaxing. Helps me fall asleep.
Yes, it is so much like meditation oldpop>Shero
All I ever see are colors. I enjoy it myself. I like to change the colors willfully. For me it is like meditation.
Same here, but I like timoc's answer better...Nothing!
Aunt Bea, I watched that for 10 seconds, now I'll have to go and sit somewhere in the dark for an hour.Sounds a bit trippy to me!

I see shades of black and grey.
In a pitch black room i see the same thing i see behind closed eyelids, it's natural, some people don't pay it any mind, some enjoy it, some move on to fantasizing. Don't know if anyone's done the research but i suspect that people who genuinely don't see phosphenes, rather than just never paid much attention to them, when eyes closed are not highly visual people as it is, which is why they don't pay attention.I have discussed this with quite a few people. Some see them some do not. Some I am sure do not admit it and some do not know what the heck I am talking about. It is kind of crazy but it is a real phenomenon.
