yes people can pay to take a tour, quite expensive for what they get to see .. only open 3 months of the year. Buck House has 775 rooms and the public paying high ticket prices get to see a fraction of it ..it's actually very plush inside.. you can see a little bit of it on youtube...for free..Can people take tours? I would not, it reminds me too much of the Newport mansions and historic homes my mother dragged me too. There is nothing more boring to me.
Why not ?.. I had one today in factI've never had a latte, and won't.
I don't like cold coffee or drinks that have ice in them (exception: sweet tea). My mom was German, and we never had ice in drinks. Her exception was iced coffee. Why not ?.. I had one today in fact![]()
a Latte doesn't have to be cold.. in fact I don't think I've ever had a cold latte . Are you thinking of a Frappe ?I don't like cold coffee or drinks that have ice in them (exception: sweet tea). My mom was German, and we never had ice in drinks. Her exception was iced coffee.
I love a Latte, with a shot of hazelnut flavoring! I only had a cold Latte once, just recently when we visited a mobile coffee vendor.a Latte doesn't have to be cold.. in fact I don't think I've ever had a cold latte . Are you thinking of a Frappe ?
You're not alone, I cannot recall ever having eaten a waffle. I have never had a McDonalds or any of their competitors, fast food wotsits.I've never eaten a waffle.
Not sure why just haven't ever ordered one or made one at home.
there are different types of Waffles. The sweet waffles that you buy at the bakery section of the supermarket and have for breakfast , and served usually with some fresh fruit and often maple syrup...or the Savoury version which you can find in any freezer section, which is made from Potato, and is served fried or grilled alongside bacon and eggs or similar for supper..You're not alone, I cannot recall ever having eaten a waffle. Like Holly, I will never be a grandparent. The lottery will never make me a millionaire, the next time that I buy a lottery ticket will be the first.
I've never heard of an In-out- burgerI've never had an In-N-Out burger.
In-N-Out Burger is an American regional chain of fast food restaurants. The UK version would be, young men out on the beer. After a skinful, they fancy a burger. That's the "In" part. The "Out" part gets rather graphic.I've never heard of an In-out- burger![]()
WOW. I can't imagine what that would be like. From the age of 18 to 66 I had only been without a full time job (often 50 to 60 hrs/week,and that's not counting lunch break like that annoying "9 to 5" expression) for about 3 weeks. Most of my life has been eat, sleep, work, recuperate, repeat. I'm not whining or bragging. I actually feel extremely blessed to have been able to stay employed. I'm sure you have your reasons. Most everbody's life is challenging in one way or another.Never employed full-time, lots of part-time and/or per-diem, never full-time.
Ithink that's been most peoples' lives one way or another. My husband works a regular 80 hour week even now at 61..and he's one of the bosses...WOW. I can't imagine what that would be like. Yes, I've tried self employment 3 times in my life and sure learned the reality of the addage that when you are your own boss, you can work any 80 hours per week that you choose.Ithink that's been most peoples' lives one way or another. I can totally relate. I managed a group of 13 salespeople and my work life was 24/7. I worked from home, which was even worse because I could never turn it off. My boss used to send me emails at all hours.Ithink that's been most peoples' lives one way or another. My husband works a regular 80 hour week even now at 61..and he's one of the bosses...
My husband isn't his own boss, he works for a very well known British corporate companyYes, I've tried self employment 3 times in my life and sure learned the reality of the addage that when you are your own boss, you can work any 80 hours per week that you choose.
yep same here. when he's home he's working..phone and emails never stop..I can totally relate. I managed a group of 13 salespeople and my work life was 24/7. I worked from home, which was even worse because I could never turn it off. My boss used to send me emails at all hours.
Retirement was a blessing. I hope your husband can enjoy this soon.
I didn't get my license until the third try and I was 30 years old. I never would have done it if my town had run a bus service.never got driver's license though I took driving test 3 times
I am sooo thankful for my sister. We had our problems as kids, especially when I was acting out as a teen, but we bonded completely after the last of our parents died. The process we went through for settling the estate, cleaning out the horrible mess they left us and selling the home we grew up in, brought out the best in each of us, and we so greatly appreciated the work that the other did, that we didn't want to do, or couldn't do brought us to a whole new relationship. It's 20 years later and we still write or phone at least once a week.Siblings are overated.
