What’s a common experience for many people that you’ve never experienced?

Can people take tours? I would not, it reminds me too much of the Newport mansions and historic homes my mother dragged me too. There is nothing more boring to me.
yes people can pay to take a tour, quite expensive for what they get to see .. only open 3 months of the year. Buck House has 775 rooms and the public paying high ticket prices get to see a fraction of it ..it's actually very plush inside.. you can see a little bit of it on youtube...for free..

this is 360 deg..so just click around with your mouse to see the Grand Entrance...

I've never eaten a waffle.
Not sure why just haven't ever ordered one or made one at home.
You're not alone, I cannot recall ever having eaten a waffle. I have never had a McDonalds or any of their competitors, fast food wotsits.
Like Holly, I will never be a grandparent. The lottery will never make me a millionaire, the next time that I buy a lottery ticket will be the first.

there are different types of Waffles. The sweet waffles that you buy at the bakery section of the supermarket and have for breakfast , and served usually with some fresh fruit and often maple syrup...or the Savoury version which you can find in any freezer section, which is made from Potato, and is served fried or grilled alongside bacon and eggs or similar for supper..

I always have a box of frozen potato waffles in my freezer. and often cook it with my sunday breakfast .. .I'm not keen on the sweet type,..wayy too sweet for me even wthout the maple syrup ..

Looking through these things others have mentioned, I never used illegal drugs, or had a tattoo/piercing. Other than that, I've probably done, or tried nearly everything mentioned over my many decades. Some have been a good experience, while others were a "one time only". Life has been pretty good, and I am grateful for our nice family.

Oh, and BTW, I like waffles, and make my own at least once a week for breakfast.

not a coffee lover, don't like the taste
never went to high school prom/didn't graduate with college class
never got driver's license though I took driving test 3 times
never been to a spa or had a facial/never dyed my hair

Never employed full-time, lots of part-time and/or per-diem, never full-time.
WOW. I can't imagine what that would be like. From the age of 18 to 66 I had only been without a full time job (often 50 to 60 hrs/week,and that's not counting lunch break like that annoying "9 to 5" expression) for about 3 weeks. Most of my life has been eat, sleep, work, recuperate, repeat. I'm not whining or bragging. I actually feel extremely blessed to have been able to stay employed. I'm sure you have your reasons. Most everbody's life is challenging in one way or another.

Ithink that's been most peoples' lives one way or another. My husband works a regular 80 hour week even now at 61..and he's one of the bosses...

I can totally relate. I managed a group of 13 salespeople and my work life was 24/7. I worked from home, which was even worse because I could never turn it off. My boss used to send me emails at all hours.

Retirement was a blessing. I hope your husband can enjoy this soon.

I didn't get my license until the third try and I was 30 years old. I never would have done it if my town had run a bus service.
Never had a grandchild and never will.
Never had a cell phone.
Never had an engagement ring and been married twice.

Siblings are overated.
I am sooo thankful for my sister. We had our problems as kids, especially when I was acting out as a teen, but we bonded completely after the last of our parents died. The process we went through for settling the estate, cleaning out the horrible mess they left us and selling the home we grew up in, brought out the best in each of us, and we so greatly appreciated the work that the other did, that we didn't want to do, or couldn't do brought us to a whole new relationship. It's 20 years later and we still write or phone at least once a week.
