Can you share your best sandwich/roll ever?

Two slices of sourdough bread.
On the inside, slices of Ham, Turkey and Provolone Cheese.
In a dish, beat one egg, a little milk and touch of nutmeg.
Dip Sandwich in mixture to coat, like French toast.
Fry to crispy in pan with butter or Olive oil. (Used to deep fat fry in the 'bad old days'.)
Dust with powdered sugar.
Dip sandwich in your favorite Jam/Jelly. (Black Currant Jelly is my favorite)

My Monte Cristo treat. Not for everyday consumption, just once in a while.

OUR LOBSTER ROLLS

2 teaspoons snipped chives
2 large bollilo rolls, prepared
4 chopped Romaine lettuce leaves
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
1/2 cup Spicy Mayonnaise, recipe follows

Spicy Mayonnaise:
1 cup mayonnaise, such as Hellmann's

1 teaspoon lemon juice
¼ teaspoon seafood seasoning, such as Old Bay
Snipped chives
Sriracha hot sauce, as needed
Kosher salt

  2. Brush the cut sides of the prepared bollilo buns with the remaining 1/4 cup melted butter. Grill the buns, cut-side down, until golden brown, about 3 minutes. Dress the lettuce leaves with the olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt and pepper.
  3. Place the dressed lettuce leaves in the toasted buns and add the lobster meat. Drizzle with the Spicy Mayonnaise and garnish with the chives. Serve with lemon wedges.
Spicy Mayonnaise:
  1. Combine the mayo, Dijon mustard, mustard powder, lemon juice, snipped chives and seafood seasoning in a bowl. Season with Sriracha and kosher salt.
  2. Remainder of Spicy mayo can be used as a salad dressing for another time

I made some pita bread the other day and ate one with leftover chicken and gyros meat and hummus for lunch today. Mmmm, mmmm.

One of my best sandwiches is tuna salad with lettuce and tomato on oat nut bread. It's refreshing and delicious. :)
Is that the pita bread from the recipe you shared the other day? Just curious.

I can build a good Reuben

but

my go to is the tomato sandwich

Large tomato fresh from the garden
Thin sliced
Piled
Fresh home baked white bread
Ever so lightly toasted
Thin swipe of butter before the toast cools
Slather with mayo
salt
pepper

Slice diagonal

Put yer elbows on napkins

In the past, when my son was young, he used to love my Turkey Panini sandwiches and would press down on the sandwich with the panini maker until I'd tell him to ease up on it or it will burn. Recipe: 2 Italian bread slices, buttered, sliced mozzarella cheese, sliced marinated red papers, sliced red onions, turkey slices (or chicken), mayonnaise. Sizzle until cheese melts.
