I used to have a lot of trouble sleeping, falling and staying. I found that I had a magnesium deficiency and that most people do.

Ghost pipe (monotropa uniflora), willow bark, valerian, ionic zinc, goldenrod, elderberry, lion's mane, watercress, nettle, and a couple others. Wild Lettuce at times. Magnesium is vital for over 300 bodily processes and one is relaxation. The ionic does not disturb my digestive system. I consider these so much better than using CBD or pharmaceuticals. In fact, I have been able to stop or reduce meds significantly. I can regulate my sleep at will. I can sleep a couple hours wake up and do things and then go right back to sleep. If I want to stay asleep for 6 to 8 hours, I just do it with no trouble. I recommend you check with a medical professional before taking herbs though. Some herbs may interfere with meds you are taking or just may not be for you. I researched mine and made sure that none of them have any contraindications. I also take a lot of various vitamins and have more energy than I know what to do with.
