The Beautifully Strange World of Outsider Music

What got me interested in this approach to creating music was Jimi Hendrix. He played a fusion of many different styles while expressing his immediate experiences. Like a child does. I love children making music. It is direct, raw, truthful, spontaneous, and for me that is what art is about. I think the commercial music industries pressure/mafia killed Hendrix.
It is the road less traveled, and it don't pay very well. :) The last band I played in about 20 years ago was named "S.R.E. (sorry), because we allowed stuff to happen on the fly...all kinds of musical games. It was way off the beaten path. We were very popular in a large town for about a year....

WOW! That is a great resource page for what I have come to view as the way the conventional practices of science are being bombarded with an explosion of new science ( mainly through advanced technology ). There are many modern approaches to understanding and aligning ones "consciousness" with the quanta universe. I have even noticed that many religious folk are staying away from dogmatic leaders and are finding a direct connection with the "divine". This has to be allowed not rejected because those who reject this cosmic unfolding will suffer because of their resistance. This is critical at the junction humanity is at right now because existential threats are increasing. Belief is the old wine skin, knowledge is the new wine.
