I have a love hate relationship with trumpets. They have their places, especially in jazz, but in other genres, I don't really like songs with a lead trumpet with some exceptions (e.g. if other instruments I like and/or vocal outshine it).

Thanks for posting. I tried to listen but I could only get to nine seconds in. I like most kinds of instruments and music. I just cannot get next to Opera. I will say I have tried though. My favorites are stringed instruments and Bagpipes. The pipes give me goosebumps when I hear them.

Piano, but only when the player doesn't use the peddles or doesn't use them right, and only when the piano is the solitary instrument. To my ears, pianos are shrill (unless buffered by the pedals). But with a full orchestra or, say, a rock or jazz band, then they sound awesome.

I agree. The player of the instrument is a big part of that. It takes 2 2 tangle.
But the CRASH of those huge cymbals bugs me most of the time.

I'm not fond of the electric guitar when someone is doing the woo-oh-woo-oh wheee-ee-ee-eeeeee thing to it. Especially if they have the amp turned up to an earsplitting level.
Don't care for the accordion either. My neighbors where I grew up, would get out their record player every Sunday and play polka music loud. Very annoying.
