What was the last gift you gave yourself?

Hi, what I call a dooner is a quilt like this one and it goes inside my new rosey dooner cover. they take the place of a blanket, because it's summer here, I have a very lightweight one at the moment but you can buy them up to the equivalent of 3, 4, 5 blanket weight etc for very cold weather. Haven't used a blanket in years. Hope that helps.

Yes, I know what you're talking about.
In fact, I have one on my bed now...it could be heavier too.

I've just pinned 2 flat sheets around it to act as a cover for now.
 
I have everything I need materially, so most of our expenses go to home, car and electronic maintenance. Just bought myself a new hard drive for my 9 year-old Macbook Pro. A guess that's a good gift.

The true gifts for me are tickets for entertainment venues. Upcoming in March and April... Tears for Fears, Journey and Toto concerts, Torch Song (the play). Those are the gifts that keep on giving!

First of all, I loved the color of your car, Bretrick! Nice gift to yourself!

My last gift to me is when I gave the gift of friendship to someone whose mother died recently and
needed to speak for quite awhile on the phone. My reward was making her happy by the end of
the conversation. Also, I give gifts to myself almost daily, although I never
thought of them as gifts before. More like necessities, lol.

Would you believe I have four? -Three inexpensive ones I bought to mix and match with sheet sets and one nice heavy one a friend bought for me. I only have one "dooner" though; it would be nice to have them in different weights.

You have lobsters to go with those bibs, I'm assuming? Cause that is a nice gift. Or wait, does lobster bibs mean something besides the only meaning I currently know for it?
