What is your favorite "go to" past time?

I too like YouTube. Some live cams, a couple of channels I follow more closely and other random. Great how to videos also or if I need knitting help. I found a video for little bead trees I really want to try. Got the beads and wire, just need to start. When the cats are asleep.

I hope I never lose patience to knit. I thought I knitted for a good amount of time today but my simple scarf doesn't seem that much longer.

Head out to the garage and my workbench.
Pull an old electric motor out of the 'might work again' pile and start a rebuild.
Listen to Jazz as I dismantle it.
Doesn't matter if I can bring it back to life or not, just something to keep me sharp.
Also, it gets me out of that ' No Jazz in the House' place.

At the moment, it's making voodoo dolls... I think; I haven't finished my first one yet.

I didn't end up making one yesterday as I got caught up covering my laptop in pink glitter contact paper. I'm mostly happy with the results and my husband says it came out looking nice, but all I can see is the mistakes, - you (collective) know how that is.

Also, the paper is paler pink than I'd imagined (Amazon), and more slightly shimmery than glittery, but I'm actually glad about that (the shimmer not the pale) as I think glittery would have been a bit much.

Anyway, today is voodoo doll day! LOL
