Hi all!
I used to own a forum and have really missed the camaraderie since I closed it several years ago. I'm hoping to find that "sense of community" that I lost.
I've "walked around" peeking in doors, but haven't found the place to read "about me" posts from members...or to post my own. Looking forward to getting to know all of you.
In case anyone is interested, I'm 63, widowed 4 years, own a home on a creek at the foot of a mountain in Alabama (yes, Virginia, Alabama has mountains! Indoor plumbing too.)
I have one mini long-haired dachshund who is my best friend.
I'm a freelance writer and editor now after many years of writing and editing contracted non-fiction. I've had a couple of novels published (I'm happy to plug them if anyone is interested) and have a couple in the works. I used to blog but lost interest for a while.
I enjoy gardening, nature watching, games, home DIY and making music.
Hoping to meet new people with whom I have interests in common AND those who can teach me new things.
